Jules - St James Open House

Every year at St James Kindergarten, there's a School Open House where parents are invited to their children's classrooms to take a look at what they have been doing in school...what they have been taught, showing parents the art work that they have done and even a short presentation at the end of the Open House.

Jules term 3 was all about Sand! He was told to do a Sand themed Show and tell project to bring to school or bring sand to school to talk about it. Actually our boys enjoyed going to the beach so they enjoyed playing sand very much. If I had known that there was going to be a sand project, then I would have collected some sand from all the beaches that we have visited because the last pebble beach that we went to had the cutest pebble sand!!!

and in Jules' project, we introduced the various type of sand - white sand, black sand (from volcanic sites) and pebble sand.

hmm...is cactus related to sand? or is it that sand can be found in deserts and so are cacti?
